The spa hotel new years eve with Shades Events supplying 2 DJS and Discotheques for there new years eve ball one  in the Ball room and one in the restaurant

Owner Shaun Easton and his team at Shades Events dressed the main ball room with 24 led battens around the edge of the room and on all the window ledges controlled via our DMX lighting computer  system giving us complete control over the lighting in the room at the touch of a button, on our touch screen the room would colour change manually or run sound activated.

We then placed in each corner of the room a P-R 575 moving head with our logos and Gobo’s to project onto the main ceiling of the ball room with stars and color’s and   changing shapes projected all over the ceiling with beams of light hitting the chandeliers the colours were amazing a real wow factor using the house lights like a mirror ball.

For the main Discotheque system we installed our bespoke sound system with its array horns and mid top packs with W bins for the bass.  This amazing sound system standing just over 6ft tall has a 5k output and is as clear as can be we had many complements on the sound and lighting saying how it was so much better than last years.

The main Discotheque lighting was also P-R moving heads with 4 x 250 pilots, 4 x 300 pilots, and 4 x 150 pilots, all hung on our truss system overhead on two VMB winch stands at a height of 4 meters . The main stands holding up the lighting rig where inclosed with scrim king covers that hide all the metal work of the stands. Behind the covers were LED Par cans that color washed the scrims turning into its own light show that was hiding all the cables and rigging. Behind the DJ we rigged a 8 meter by 4 meter full RGB LED star cloth giving more depth to the room .

With a fast fold 8 x 5 projection screen hung in front of the star cloth for video graphics and the display of all the photo’s taken by the Party Paparazzi live on the night

plus with a video feed to Big Ben at midnight as the bells chimed in the new year we had the best start to 2012 one could have.
